My family makes fun of me because I can watch hours of TV shows that they think nobody should be able to watch for 5 minutes might alone hours.
Some of those TV shows are Ice Road Truckers, Operation Repo, World Series of Poker, Deadliest Catch, Gene Simmons Family Jewels, etc.
I don't know why but I get caught up in those shows. I can literally watch one episode and get hooked. When I get hooked it's like 3 or 4 hours of those shows. On Sunday I turned on Ice Road Truckers and watched one episode for the first time. I then proceeded to watch 3 more episodes and the season opener for this season. So 5 hours total of Ice Road Trucker. I've done the same thing with Operation Repo and Deadliest Catch. My sister even asked me why I like them because they show the same thing over and over and even say the same things episode after episode. I have no idea why I like them but I do.
I'm not sure what the point of this post is. Maybe it's just a little side information on good old J.J. Barnard.
Anyway, if you have a couple of hours to blow and you want some mind numbing TV to distract you check out a couple of the shows I listed above. A & E, TLC, and the History Channel are the best TV stations for those kinds of shows.
