Toe Stub

Yesterday I was on the coach surfing the Internet. I was minding my own business, when the universe decided to mess with me. I was looking at a picture and commenting on it. My little sister, upon hearing the commentary, wanted to see the picture also. I stood up to walk the laptop over to her so she could see the picture better. That's when I encountered the demon. The demon sent to torture me for no good reason. THE COFFEE TABLE!!!! It jumped out of nowhere and I stubbed my 3rd toe on it. I immediately started to make weird "pain" noises. It felt like my toe nail was ripped off. It couldn't be. I just stubbed my toe. I fell to the ground in the oddest way as I was carrying my laptop and did not want to damage it. I first came down on my knees and then on my elbows. My little sister was laughing so hard. I am sure I sounded and looked ridiculous. After a few moments to recover, I observed the damage. Sure enough, I did just catch my toe nail in one of the niches in the foot of the coffee table and I ripped off my toe nail. By far the worst toe stub I have ever suffered. I was considering posting a picture of the awful carnage but decided to spare all of you. My sister did almost puke when she saw my toe nail just hanging there. I have a feeling many of you would have a similar reaction. I have now bandaged up my toe. It feels a little weird as I walk on it but amazingly it doesn't feel too bad.
