I do want to take a moment and thank all the veterans out there who served our country during wartime. I also want to thank those left behind by soldiers who were killed in action and gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. I know it seems like a cliche, but it is because of our men and women in uniform that we have the freedoms and luxuries we enjoy every day. Thanks a million.
It is my sincere desire that our country always remembers your service and does a better job of taking care of war veterans when they return home. We do many things, but there is much more that could be done.
My last comment for the day is that I hope less war is waged and more peace is enjoyed.
Thank you service men and women who have fought for this country and for it's people, including me.
Happy memorial day to everyone!
